To attract professional and talents who participated in “remote work” to live and contribute to the economy in Portugal, the government of Portugal launched Portugal D8 Visa – Exercise Professional Activity Provided Remotely (also known as Digital Nomad Visa) to attract foreign individuals to reside and engage in remote work in the country.

Requirements
To be eligible, you must be a third-country national who:

Has a clean criminal record from your country of residence and from Portugal

Has a proof of remote work or self-employed activity

Has a proof of a monthly income equivalent to Portugal’s minimum monthly wage

Has a proof of liquid assets equivalent to a value equivalent to four month of Portugal’s minimum monthly wage

Has a proof of accommodation in Portugal

Has a valid and suitable travel medical insurance for at least one year including medical expenses such as urgent medical care
Procedures
Step 1 : Retain Anlex Consultants to assess and prepare your application
Step 2: Submit the application to the Consulate/VFS Global Centre
Step 3:Issuance of Temporary Resident Visa [if application is approved]
